Greyhound Zorro (5) was
re-homed by the Stray Dog Sanctuary, but last year he was returned to the
rescue when his owner's change of circumstances meant that she had to work
long hours and leave Zorro and his brother Troy alone at home. Zorro and
Troy have always been together, but sadly, very recently, Troy became very
ill and had to be put to sleep, leaving Zorro all alone for the first time
in his life. He is missing his brother and best friend very much and is
feeling lonely and sad and desperately needs a home as soon as possible.
Although Zorro and Troy were inseparable, Zorro is not so keen on other
dogs, so he does need a home where he will be the only pet, and, as he
likes company, where he will not be left on his own for very long. He is
excellent with people, and he has lived with young children, so a home
where any children are at least 5 years old would be fine. He has been
vaccinated, neutered and micro-chipped. If you feel you could offer Zorro a secure, loving home please ring Judy on 01202 696685 or Sue at the GIN shop on 01202 513000 |
Greyhounds in the Cheshire area:
We are often asked to help rehome ex-racers and whilst every effort is made to keep the details on the site regarding greyhounds for adoption as up to date as possible we often have dogs waiting to come into our care in Cheshire so please give Sue and Phil a ring on 0161 620 6094 if you are interested in adopting a greyhound as they are up to date with news on the dogs needing rehoming.
The best home for Tommy would be one with experienced owners either as an only dog or with a sensible female greyhound. He is not suitable for a home with children. For more information contact Sue or Phil on 0161 620 6094 |
