AVAILABLE NOW!

The following greyhounds are in Wales and we have been asked if we can help find homes for them. If you are in a position to offer a home to one of these dogs or would like some more information about them  please contact Sian on 01443 224386.

Snoop is approx 1 to 1 1/2 years old and has a beautiful, shiny, brindle coat. He has been neutered and micro-chipped - and will soon be vaccinated. He is a very enthusiastic dog! He loves to give you kisses. Snoop can be quite bouncy though and is unsuitable to live with young children. He appears not to have had much basic training and would really benefit from training classes. We believe he is cat friendly - he spent the night in a foster home with six cats with no problems. He gets on well with other dogs unless the other dog is aggressive towards him first.
Hi, my name is Madison and I’m a 4 year old, black, female greyhound. As you can see I’m absolutely gorgeous! I’m looking for a home with no young children as I don’t really like having my beauty sleep interrupted and can get a bit touchy, although when I’m awake I just love having cuddles. At the moment I’m living in a foster home with a male mongrel and a female greyhound – I tend to ignore them as much as I can. I think I’d like to be an only dog if the chance arises – but I could possibly put up with one large male dog. Whoever adopts me will need to be quite firm with me or I might try to rule the roost! I am vaccinated, neutered and microchipped and already housetrained.

If you are interested in adopting me – or would like more information – please contact Siân on 01443 224386 or Audrey on 01685 385960.

Kia is looking to be rehomed due to a change in her current family’s circumstances.  She is a young dog,  just over a year old, and is very energetic so is looking for a home with a family who can give her the time and exercise she needs.

She is friendly with in-house cats, other dogs and children. She listens to commands and likes to play. She has a tendency to chew if left too long on her own.

If you are in a position to offer a home to Kia or would like some more information about her, please contact Sian on 01443 224386.

Summer -

Hello everyone, yep it’s me again “Summer” and guess what, I’ve let the side down. Carol found me a lovely home which went well for a while. I settled in great but soon found that I felt that I had to protect the family. That’s when the trouble started and I am now back with Jenny. Jenny said that who ever adopts me has to forget my past and deal with the problems that I am displaying at present. Jenny is really pleased with my progress, in the house she said that I am an angel, I will settle anywhere where my quilt is put down and if the back door is left open I love to lay out in the sun. I love affection and give it in return but in this household I’m the bottom of the pack and have to wait my turn but don’t worry, I actually love it, Jenny takes control of all situations and I can relax. My biggest problem is that I will bark at any dog approaching me quickly and if they get into my personal space I’ll react. Jenny’s been taking me to Dog Training Classes twice a week and I love it, there are always rewards for good behaviour and I get more each week I go, ….so I must be improving! Saying that I did get told off the other day for chasing the cat out of the garden and jumping up at the bird table but aren’t dogs meant to do that sort of thing?

So who ever adopts me has to be extra special, have time to spend with me on walks and in the home. They would have to still take me training as I am learning to trust other dogs near me and I really do like someone to take charge of me. So preferably a quiet home with maybe one other older dog would suit me fine, I’m not fussy but you have to be 100% sure that you want me. Jenny said that anyone can visit so why not get in touch and see what happens.

If you feel that you could offer this gorgeous boy a loving home, please

The following greyhounds are all in the Bournemouth area:

ADOPTED LUKE

Loving home needed for Luke a gentle but playful fawn/white greyhound. He is good with other dogs and children. Luke was found in a garden shed in an emaciated condition. His rescuer, a kind, disabled lady, cared for him for several months before reluctantly giving him up for rehoming as her condition worsened.

Luke is such a wonderful dog who has endured such cruelty; could you offer him a secure, loving forever home? If you can offer a home to Luke please contact Sue at the shop on 01202 513000.

RESERVED TIGER LILY

Tiger Lily is a young female dark brindle whippet/greyhound. She likes human company so needs a home with someone who is around for much of the time at home, or could take her to work with them. She gets on very well with all other dogs and is excellent with adults and children. She is simply very affectionate and friendly, also good on recall and has never caused worry when off the lead. She is clean indoors, up to date with jabs, worming and frontline. If you can offer a home to Tiger Lily please contact Sue at the shop on 01202 513000.
