Wilfrid
from Levriers
en Difficulte travelled to Vic in September to collect Laura, Teri, Sita,
Elliot, Orlando and Aitor for Jacqueline and Max of
Association
de Sauvetage des Levriers. We were very grateful to
Jacqueline and Max for taking Aitor as he has problems with his sight.
Sadly nothing can be done but he has settled in with his new family and is
coping very well. Wilfrid also collected Presiosi who had a home waiting
in Josephine
travelled on 2nd October from Last
weekend we moved 19 galgos from Vic. Eleven went to We
(Terry, Pat and Carolyn)
were able to be at the quarantine kennels in Gloucestershire www.preciouspets.co.uk
when the dogs arrived with Colin and Carol of Pet Couriers
www.pet-couriers.com. It
was lovely to see the galgos as they came off the van. The staff at the
kennels were as pleased as us to see them. First, Domingo, who was a
little scared and had his tail between his legs, next was Fortuna – who
stopped to pee and we thought he wouldn’t stop!, then came Nuria, Peluda,
Terry, Hamlet, Paulette and Enrietta – all with tails wagging and
looking quite pleased to see everyone. They had clean waterproof coats all
ready for them in 2 piles – blue for boys and pink for girls, and once
settled they had their first meal in the Later this
month another 18 galgos will be going from Albacete to Italy – details
for this transport are being finalized now and Josephine is also getting
ready for another trip to
