July-September Transportations

Transportations slow down during the summer months due to the hot weather and holidays but we were still able to move some galgos from Cadiz and Murcia to Belgium.

In September sixteen galgos left Vic for homing in France by Jacqueline and Max, and in Switzerland by Manuela.

At the end of September, thanks to Balbino at the Arca de Noe refuge, and Elisa of GACI and Nina and Nina of SASIN, 16 galgos left Albacete for homing in Italy and Slovenia.

Elisa of GACI talking to new adopters about the galgos Keiki from Albacate has a nice new bed in Slovenia Just arrived in Slovenia and ready to play

Nina and Nina of SASIN (Slovenian Association for Sighthounds in Need) held their first walk in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, last weekend. They are receiving more and more interest in their work for the galgos and hopefully more walks will be organized in the future and more homes will be forthcoming for the galgos.

Many thanks to everyone involved for making all of this possible.

More galgos are already coming into the kennels and refuges to replace those who have left and plans are already underway for the October transports.
