January/February Transportations

Thirty-one galgos left Spain in January and February to start new lives in Belgium, France and Switzerland.

Wilfrid of Levriers en Difficulte went to Vic to collect Celia, Siena, Claus and Uma, originally from Albacete, and Lucas and Ines, originally from Madrid.

Jacqueline and Max of Association Sauvetage Levriers went to Vic to collect Zara, Vainilla, Patan, Torcaz, Carmina and Diva originally from Albacete, Almendralejo and Madrid.

Kathi Backes of SOS Levriers went to Vic to collect Lyra,  and Manuela from Levriers Swiss Adoptions collected Carlos, Pekina, Scaramouche, Riko, Pera, Kato, Tigressa, Perla, Milady and Happy.

Josephine of Greyhounds Rescue Belgium flew to Alicante in January to collect Kirsty, Merrick, Diesel and Seve from Noah’s Arc, Murcia and to Malaga in February to collect Divino, Seno, Pejiguera and Valentin, all originally from the Villamartin refuge in Cadiz.

Balbino and his team at Arca de Noe are now preparing for a transport to Elisa and GACI, Italy, next month and more galgos are arriving at Vic to replace those who have just left.
