Offers of help, specially accomplished fundraising events would be very welcomed! Street collections, (you need permission from your local council), coffee mornings, car boots, dog food collections at your local supermarket, these all help. Monthly Sunday Walk near Bournemouth Sunday walks near  Bournemouth. The walks are approximately 4 miles long and take around 2 hours. Please contact Keith and Mollie for more dates/details on 01202 723540 or 07957 295 120. The next two walks are on the 18th Feb and the 25th March. Further proposed dates for the walks are in 2007:-April 22, June 24, July 22, Aug 19, Sept 23, Oct 21, Nov 25, Dec 16, and in 2008:- Jan 13, Feb 17, Mar 16, Apr 20, May 18, Jun 22, Jul 20, Aug 17, Sep 21, Oct 19, Nov 16, Dec 14.

Liz Mason took her galgos Sol and Dena along to Cleveleys Town Centre in Blackpool where Sue, Phil, Carol and their dogs had organized a Fundraising and raising awareness day for GIN - they raised £498.70!
Phil, Sue, Carol, dogs and supporters at the "Hair and Hounds" event at Wolstanton, Staffs. The salon's owner kindly  invited us to bring our hounds along to the Salon for a day and  generously donated the customer takings on that day to GIN !   along with sales of wonderful home made cakes and refreshments plus the takings on the tombola and sales of home made dog treats, a fantastic £683.11 was raised!

10th Feb 2008 Speed Dating, Cheshire "Speed dating for fast friends" at Wilmslow Garden Centre, Cheshire 11am-4pm Sunday 10th February. Come and cuddle a greyhound who is looking for a loving home. 23rd Mar 2008 Greyhound Awareness Day Easter Sunday 11am-4pm. Brereton Heath Country Park, just off the A54, between Holmes Chapel and Congleton, Cheshire. 13th Apr 2008 Fundraising Awareness Day GIN will have a fundraising/awareness raising event at the Ashton-under-Lyne Pets at Home Store in Greater Manchester. The Store is situated on the Snipe Retail Park, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL7 ODN next to Junction 23 of the M60, and we will be there from 11am to 3.30pm. More details from Sue and Phil on 0161 620 6094.
3rd May 2008 Cleveleys Fundraiser 10am-4pm - Come along and enjoy a day at the Seaside whilst supporting your favourite Charity! GIN volunteers will be fundraising and raising awareness of Greyhounds and Galgos in Need, in Cleveleys Town Centre, near Blackpool. Please ring Sue or Phil White on 0161 620 6094 for more details.
10th May 2008 "Hair and Hounds" Staffordshire A 10am to 4pm meeting of "Hair and Hounds" at Wolstanton, Staffs. This an event with a difference and will be taking place at Chetwynd Hair Design, 1 Chetwynd Street, Wolstanton, Newcastle, Staffs. ST5 0EQ on 10th May 2008. The salon's owner has invited us to bring our hounds along to the Salon where she has most generously offered that the customer payments on that day will all be donated to GIN! 18th May 2008 Dog Fun Day 9am-1pm Sunday. Lyme Park, Disley. Off the A6 approximately 6 miles SE of Stockport. Half a
mile from Disley train station. Come and visit this National Trust property and enjoy fantastic walks while learning how greyhounds make great

GIN volunteers will be fundraising at the Morrison's Supermarket, Saxon Street, Denton, Manchester M34 3DS from 10am to 4pm. 3rd Aug 2008 Cheshire Dog Show Home Farm, Tatton Park, Cheshire, Fun Dog Show. Greyhounds in Need have been welcomed back to have a stall fundraising and promoting awareness of greyhounds and galgos in need at this very popular fun dog show. It starts at 12 noon, but GIN volunteers will be there from 11am to 4pm.
Come along and enter your dog in the dog show or bring a picnic and enjoy the opportunity of chatting to other proud greyhound and galgo owners in beautiful surroundings. More details from Sue and Phil on 0161 620 6094.
