Membership    Since starting our voluntary membership scheme some years ago many of you have become members  ……...…..……….but we could always do with more ! The scheme runs for the calendar year and this has caused some        confusion as our newsletters do not go out at the beginning of the year so we have been thinking of ways to improve the scheme. In December, starting in 2009,  we will write to current members to let them know that membership renewals fall due the following January should they wish to renew………...…………we hope they will !   If you haven't heard from us by the end of the year please let us know, just in case some letters go astray in the Christmas post which can happen. From January 2010 the membership fee will be increased to £12 per year (£6 minimum for non-wage earners), all members will         receive a membership card (sample below), with a membership number and a little gift from us and will be entitled to a 5% discount on their merchandise orders.   You will need to quote your membership number on the merchandise order form. For new   supporters   wishing to        become members please complete the form on page 11 and if you are a UK tax payer please complete the gift aid form too !        Thank you,        Audrey     10 Reg.
