We would like to thank everyone who has given one of our lovely dogs
the chance of a home they so richly deserve. Sally, the beautiful
brindle galgo, who many of you will have read about on the GIN website
is now living happily in the Derbyshire countryside with Sarah and her
son William. Poppy, the very lively little white and black greyhound has
found her ideal home with a lovely family in Oldham. Thanks to Jules
and Rob and Emma and John who fostered her before she found her
forever family. Poppy is a real character and now has her own page on
Face Book!
Gordon, the blue and white boy, is a very handsome gentle giant. He has
settled happily into his new home in Manchester where he is becoming
very well known in his local neighbourhood. We are not so sure that the
local cats and squirrels are quite so pleased by his arrival though.
Star,a small black greyhound, had
had a long and illustrious racing
career before her owners asked if
we could find her a home where
she could enjoy her well earned
retirement. Star has quickly
settled into the routine of family
life, living with a lovely family in
the picturesque surroundings of
the Yorkshire Dales. She has already been on two holidays this summer,
one on a canal boat and one to Northumberland. Thank you to Sandra
and Graham and their dogs Flash and Bella for fostering Star before
she found her forever home.
We hope to have some good news in the next Newsletter about
Charity, a beautiful young white greyhound who wasn't very keen on
racing and who is presently being fostered by Jenny and Jim. She has
just been on holiday to North Wales, in a caravan with her friends
Pierre and Jasper who are helping to teach her about living in a home
rather than a kennel. Hopefully she will have found her new family by
the next time we write. Sue, Phil and Carol
