To this end we will be making a joint protest to the Spanish Government during their Presidency.    We are in the process now of investigating the most effective form of approach to the Spanish Government.  We will then be seeking the     support of our European partners. We are all too well aware of the difficulty in persuading the Spanish Government even to enforce their existing laws but we hope our         supporters will approve our efforts in this direction.    Those of us dedicated to helping the galgos of Spain must never rest until their barbaric treatment is brought to an end.                                                                                      Martin …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Educational Booklet Work continues on the Educational Booklet.    The draft set of     teachers’ materials and  guidance notes, which are intended to be used in conjunction with a school’s English classes, have been          forwarded to contacts in Spain for their comments.    Some have     already been  using these in classes and we are receiving     feedback now.  It is hoped that a visit to Spain can be arranged later this year/early 2010 to launch this education  programme.     7
